"Adobe Tips & Tricks." Photoshop, Animating a Fairytale. [http://www.adobe.com/studio/tipstechniques.aftereffects.html] (4/25/97).
Gave a step by step instructional guide to making animations using Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Aftereffects for interactive CD Roms. This was valuable in the fact that it allowed me to compare the effectiveness of this process, as compared to the same process done with Adobe Photoshop and Media 100. The conclusion was that both seem to produce high end output. There are however quite a few more options though with the After Effects, Photoshop combination. If we obtain a copy of Adobe After Effects at school I would prefer creating video animations in this program.
"Artelsoft." Boris FX. [http://www.artelsoft.com/] (5/4/97).
A software plugin for Media 100 & Adobe After Effects. I first learned about this software at the Media 100 Demonstration at the Apple building in Santa Monica. I had to check into this feature considering the preview of some of its functions. Its specialty is creating rreally high tech 3D special effects for television, film, and multimedia. We don not have the Boris FX plugin for our Media 100, but should obtain it if we want aid in producing high end creativity.
Caldwell, Matt. Director FAQ. [http://www.mcli.dist.maricopa.edu/director/faq/index.html] (4/16/97)

Harrel, Bill. Using Photoshop 3 for Macintosh: Creating Animations. Indianapolis, IN: Que Corporation, 1997.
This book claims to be "The Most Complete Reference" on Adobe Photoshop. I can some what believe it at 900 pages long. It has served as my trusty encyclopedia. A great book if you are trudging new ground with specific Photoshop features. The animations section was very useful in my reseach. One of the features of Media 100 is animating layers of a Photoshop document. This is a very nice feature that I would like to utilize in the future.
Jones, Peggy. Demonstration on Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia Director. Miracosta College TIC Lab. Oceanside, CA. (5/7/97).
An admirable Multimedia Designer. She demonstrated the CD Rom that she made primarily using Macromedia Director, and Adobe Photoshop. She also gave us demonstrations in Photoshop and Director. I interviewed her briefly on some Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects questions that I had. New tips and tricks to add to the list of many. The CD was very inspiring.
"Media 100 Inc." Media 100 FAQ. [http://www.Media100.com/Q_A.html] (4/21/97)
Another FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) except this FAQ deals strictly with Media 100. The corporate office's official webpage offers indepth information including hardware, software, compatibility, as well as technical support references. A well rounded introduction to the Media 100 non-linear video editing suite helped me get a better idea of the main software and hardware we are using to create the video for the CD.

The complete curriculum taught at Macromedia's authorized training centers. An indepth tutorial on the many functions of Macromedia Director.
