For this course I focused my class project on a corporate site I'm in the process of designing. It is a rather large project that has recquired alot of structural planning as well other design issues. The project is a medically related site dealing with Continued Medical Education. The site will consist of 12 different tutorials ranging on various subjects from Mammography, Radiology, and many more. The purpose for the site is to provide medical technitions with an alternative way to fill their yearly ASRT recquirement in order to keep there medical license.
This project is an extended project that will carry out for many months. I have been very busy planning file structures as well as designing logos and media. The site is still in its beginning. There are 3 tutorials within the Mammography section that I have been very busy working on. They are not done but already contain over 100 HTML pages as well as many graphic images. That is to just give you an idea of how big the site really is.
If you would like to view what I have done so far or make comments or suggestions feel free to visit the site at: The Source, Continuing Medical Education

Our first assignment was to use a background image with tables. We also had to provide a table within a table. I used my IMT 104 page to fulfill this competency. |

Hidden Frames are definitely pretty kewl. I want to work with them here and there for some future plans. In the meantime here is my hidden frame for class. I chose to do my assignment to incorporate into the Theatrical Makeup Magic pages I'm creating for a CD ROM project in development. |

I have also made animated gifs before, but for class I made a joint animation with Michael Kaplan. It actually turned out pretty good. Check it out! The animation was designed with The Gif Construction Set. This software is pretty straight forward and easy to use. Oh yeah if you happen to like the animation check it out the variation we made in Macromedia Director *Note* you will need Shockwave to view this alternate. |

Image Maps are a very important facet of webpage design. Mapedit is my software program of choice. I have researched various freeware versions, and they don't compare to this program. It is worth the $25. To download your copy of Mapedit go to www.boutell.com. I have made many image maps in the past, but here is one I made specifically for class. I used a graphic I made in Illustrator for my IMT 107 page |

I have used a form to relay back the medical quizes designed for the Continuing Medical Education site. Here is an example if you would like to take a peek. Quiz Form |

We had to incorporate a javascript scroll bar into one of our HTML pages. Wow would you look at that there just happens to be one of those on the bottom of this page. |

For extra credit we could incorporate more javascripts & or put applets in your page. In these pages alone I have many of both. Just keep looking around and you will find them! |
