This course offers a survey of tools available for multi-media development of presentations and interactive programs. Both hardware and software tools are explored. Standard file formats used across programs are also addressed.

Software Exploration

Adobe Photoshop

Continuing the endless mission... If you would like to see some of my work just keep browsing the site... All the graphics with the exception of the 2 Telnet Session graphics were created by me in Photoshop. This program is very important to me considering I use it all the time for website design amongst other things.

Adobe Premiere

Media 100

This was also my first experience with Media 100... I love using this primo non-linear video editing suite. I am very familiar with this interface considering the countless hours I spent working on the Theatrical Magic CD ROM. Wanna see some quicktime creations? --->---->-----> Various Clips

Gif Construction Set

I participated on the Graphics Animation Team for our IMT 103 class project, "How Neurons Communicate". My contributions included Team Leader, Research, Scanning, Touching up Graphics, Animated Gifs, as well as Organizing Team Meetings.

Mapedit

Mapedit is a very important Shareware program I use for Webpage Design. I have researched various freeware versions, and they don't compare to this program. It is worth the $25. To download your copy of Mapedit go to www.boutell.com

Symantec Visual Cafe

Visual Cafe is a great Java Editor. It allows you to create JAVA Applets & Applications with Relative Ease. I will definitely continue to use this program considering the valuable resource that it is... My first creation is a groovy Firework Applet. I also created an Interactive Slide Show on some various pictures from the Theatrical Makeup CD ROM.

Macromedia Director

I barely got my feet wet in Director, but value the interactive flexibility it contains. This semester I created a simple animation. In the future I will design my cd portfolio as well as help design the Theatrical Makeup CD ROM with Director. I also plan to gain a deeper knowledge of lingo programming.
