Competency 3, Use Resources to Extend Personal Knowledge


Our group arranged a meeting with Database Guru, Dave Megill. Dave is also the head of the highly specialized Music Department at Mira Costa... The perfect combination. Music & Database which is exactly what our project is. We managed to ask various questions about our Proposal. We gained much insight into forming our Database Structure and making it all come together.

We also had a meeting with Information Master Janet Megill. Janet is a Librarian and Department Chair for Library Science. She taught us all about MARC Code, as well as different means to Information Systems. She also managed to give us a little history as well as some informative handouts.
