note: The Dutch lp for "Armed Audio Warfare" has the call number "SAX 045"
      etched into its run-out grooves.
note: The US test-pressing lp for "Armed Audio Warfare" comes in a generic
white die-cut sleeve. The record's HUB-SERVALL RECORDS MFG. CORP
label has a rectangular black [computer print] on white sticker
affixed which features the tracklisting. The record's run-out groove
has the call numbers, "SAX 045", "BIAS 189" and "WAX 7106", etched
      into each side of it.
note: The US test-pressing lp for "Armed Audio Warfare" incorrectly lists
the songs "Marrs Needs Women" and "Cutman" as being on this release.
Also, "I Got The Fear" is listed as being the last track on Side A,
when in actuality it is the first track on Side B. The corrections
      are as appear above.
note: The lp releases for "Armed Audio Warfare" incorrectly identify track
#B2 as "Kneel And Buzz", and track #B3 as "Kick That Man" (switching
them around in the tracklisting from how they really appear on the
records). On the Dutch lp for this release however, the correct
tracklisting does appear on the record's label, but (still) not on
its picture sleeve. The corrections are as appear above.
note: On the lp releases for "Armed Audio Warfare" track #B5 has been
slightly edited down from its original form specifically for this
album, hence it being tagged with "(armed audio warfare edit)".
Compare this "Give Your Body Its Freedom" to its unedited/full-
length version which appears on the UK cd single for "Strap Down"
(SOX 032 CD). The correction is as appears above.

note: The cassette releases for "Armed Audio Warfare" incorrectly identify
track #B1 as "Kneel And Buzz", and track #B2 as "Kick That Man"
(switching them around in the tracklisting from how they really
appear on the cassettes). The corrections are as appear above.
note: On the cassette releases for "Armed Audio Warfare" track #B4 has been
slightly edited down from its original form specifically for this
album, hence it being tagged with "(armed audio warfare edit)".
Compare this "Give Your Body Its Freedom" to its unedited/full-

note: On the cassette releases for "Armed Audio Warfare", track #B5, "Marrs

note: The original UK pressing for "Armed Audio Warfare" would have been on
SWEATBOX RECORDS (SAX 045) in May of 1988, but its master recordings
were damaged in a fire. Because this album was never released in its
original form, the intended tracklisting is unknown.
note: All three formats of the initial US pressing of "Armed Audio Warfare"
[on WAX TRAX! RECORDS] were misprinted, with their spines' titles
instead reading: "Meat Beat Manifesto". The cassette and cd were
later re-printed with the corrected title, but the lp was not.
note: The US cd reissuance for "Armed Audio Warfare" comes with a totally
different picture sleeve and disc art than that of any of its
previous releases. Also, the disc for this release misspells its
      title as "Armed Audio Warefare".
note: The cd releases for "Armed Audio Warfare" incorrectly identify track
#6 as "Kneel And Buzz", and track #7 as "Kick That Man" (switching
them around in the tracklisting from how they really appear on the
discs/cassettes). The corrections are as appear above.
note: On the cd releases for "Armed Audio Warfare" track #9 has been
slightly edited down from its original form specifically for this
album, hence it being tagged with "(armed audio warfare edit)".
Compare this "Give Your Body Its Freedom" to its unedited/full-
length version which appears on the UK cd single for "Strap Down"
(SOX 032 CD). The correction is as appears above.
note: The US cd reissuance for "Armed Audio Warfare" incorrectly identifies
track #10 as "Mars Needs Women". The correction is as appears above.
note: On the cd and cassette releases for "Armed Audio Warfare", track #10,
"Marrs Needs Women" is not the same song that appears (as "Mars Needs
Women") on the releases for the "God O.D." single.

black & blue [print] on brown/grey cardboard record jackets (housed

note: The US cd reissuance for "Storm The Studio" comes with a totally
different picture sleeve and disc art than that of any of its
      previous releases.
note: The cd releases (on SWEATBOX RECORDS, WAX TRAX! RECORDS, and TVT
RECORDS/WAX TRAX! RECORDS) for "Storm The Studio" incorrectly
identify track #11 as "Strap Down (part 3)", track #12 as "I Got The
Fear (part 1)", track #13 as "I Got The Fear (part 2)", track #14 as
"I Got The Fear (part 3)", and track #15 (which doesn't even exist on
the cd) as "I Got The Fear (part 4)". In other words the song,
"Strap Down (part 3)", appears in their tracklistings but does not
actually appear on the discs themselves. The corrected tracklisting
does appear on the US cd reissuance for this release (on MUTE
RECORDS) however . The corrections are as appear above.
note: On the cd releases for "Storm The Studio", there are no discernable

note: The US test-pressing lp for "99%" (on PLAY IT AGAIN SAM RECORDS USA)
is limited to 90 copies, and comes in a generic white die-cut sleeve.
The record's HUB-SERVALL RECORD MFG. CORP. features no tracklisting.
note: The US promotional lp for "99%" comes in the same picture sleeve as
that of it's original Dutch release (BIAS 180), but with a small
`cut-out' in the sleeve. For both issuances, the records have the
call numbers, "BIAS 180" and "BIUS 1053", etched into each side of
their run-out grooves, but then the numbers (only) have been
scratched out and replaced instead with: "1055".
note: The US promotional cassette for "99%" (on PLAY IT AGAIN SAM RECORDS
USA) does not come with a j-card picture sleeve. The tracklisting is
printed [in white] on the cassette shell, along with "Special Advance
Cassette". As well as being sent out to the usual venues (radio
stations, record stores, dance clubs, publications, djs, etc.),
remaining copies of this 'advance cassette' were also sold during
MEAT BEAT MANIFESTO's 1990 North American tour (with NINE INCH NAILS)
for $15 apiece (beginning with their July 6, 1990 show at Visage in
      Orlando, Florida).
note: The commercial releases of the US cassette and lp for "99%" both come
with a circular white [print] on black sleeve sticker affixed.

note: The US cassette release for "Satyricon" comes in two variations of
the same picture sleeve. The initial pressing (which was
discontinued) has a white [background] cover, while the reissuance's
[background] is in a black color scheme - they are both exactly the
same otherwise (in graphics, layout, etc.).
note: The cassette issuances for "Satyricon" identify track #A8 as [the

note: The Japanese cd for "Satyricon" comes with a standard obi-strip, and

counterparts. Also included is an additional single page booklet

lyrics to all the songs featured.
note: The cd issuances for "Satyricon" identify track #8 as [the combined]
"Brainwashed This Way / Zombie / That Shirt", instead of listing them
separately, thus not acknowledging the discernable separating breaks
in between these three songs ("Brainwashed This Way" begins at 0:00
and ends at 2:51 for an individual track time of: 2:51, "Zombie"
begins at 2:51 and ends at 4:11 for an individual track time of:
1:20, and "That Shirt" begins at 4:12 and ends at 5:29 for an

      above.
note: On the cd releases for "Satyricon", there are no discernable

note: The US promotional cd for "Actual Sounds + Voices" comes in the exact
same picture sleeve as its commercial version. Being that it doesn't
identify itself as being a `promotional' release anywhere on its
packaging, there are only three differences between it and its actual
release: a pair of holes punched into its bar code, a rectangular
red [print] on transparent `promotional warning' sticker affixed, and
its own call-number (which appears only on its spine, as both the
booklet and the disc feature the commercial issuance's call-number).
note: On the cd releases for "Actual Sounds + Voices", there are no
discernable separating breaks in between tracks #3 and #4 (combined
      time: 11:36), and/or tracks #5 and #6 (combined time: 5:55), and/or
      tracks #8 and #9 (combined time: 10:45), and/or tracks #10 and #11
(combined time: 9:42), and/or tracks #13 and #14 (combined time:
      12:06).
note: On the cd releases for "Actual Sounds + Voices", the actual/
programed total track time for track #15 is 4:03. However, the song
"Wildlife" ends at the 3:58 mark, leaving four seconds of blank
space/dead air before a (short) two second sound-byte appears,
      closing the album.
